Automatic and manual phosphating can be undertaken on mild steel and aluminium components as detailed below.

We operate a 4 stage phosphating process as a pretreatment prior to coating. Tank sizes are 1828mm x 740mm x 1000mm. Process order is as detailed below:

1. Degrease: T Cleaner 70 - mild alkaline cleaner with very little surface attack/etching
2. Rinse
3. Phosphate: grenodine 606 - combined degrease/iron phosphate with coating weight from 0.2 to 30 gm/m².
4. Rinse

Our phosphating tanks are fitted with an overhead gantry rated for 1000kg allowing us to process relativly high volumes quickly.
